The proposed relationship will be that of a partnership between Landlord and service provider supported by its divisions. Each party will have a specific roll and contribution requirements.
The provider must have a very clear understanding of what the costs, associated to this type of Wi-Fi network, are both from a capital and operational expenditure perspective.
The service provider Should be responsible for the Monetisation of the Wi-Fi Network and one the key mandates and objectives. We do not expect a profit share at this point and our agency charges a market related agency commission for all revenue attributed to the Wi-Fi network.
The solution is that of a managed service. The retailer will benefit by not just getting a technical partner/supplier that will manage and maintain the Wi-Fi network but also get access to the entire eco system created over the past few years that focuses on the delivery and commercialisation/Monetisation of Wi-Fi solutions.
